Description
Are you a qualified EFL Teacher, looking for a fulfilling role this summer? Would you like the support and guidance of a Director of Studies, the opportunity to work for a reputable British Council accredited summer school, and access to extensive leisure facilities with full board accommodation included?
We are looking for qualified EFL Teachers for our British Council accredited courses held at high quality independent schools in south-east England and Warwickshire.
We have developed our own short-course syllabuses for both the General English and Trinity examination courses which focus on the skills required for effective communication in English. There is an extensive range of supplementary EFL resources available at each of the centres, in addition to quality teaching facilities and support from a Director of Studies.
During classes, you'll take your main class for the first part of the morning and then usually change classes with another teacher for the latter part. All teachers are observed during lessons by the DOS and given constructive feedback as part of staff development.
You'll also visit places like Oxford, Cambridge and Windsor as part of the recreation programme, and also the famous museums of London.
Further details are available on our website, where you can apply quickly and easily.

Teachers must be graduates and possess the RSA CELTA or Trinity Cert. TESOL, or equivalent, as a minimum requirement. At least one year’s full-time TEFL experience is preferred, though we welcome applications from newly qualified teachers.
We need energetic, responsible and caring people who have a genuine ability to motivate and stimulate students both in and out of the classroom.
Free full board accommodation is provided.
All staff are paid an additional 12.12% of their stated salary as statutory holiday entitlement, and also work an average six-day week. Teachers working on the Intensive Examination Preparation course at Rugby, are paid £45 per week in addition to their basic salary.
We also offer a 'Thank you' of £100 for each friend or colleague you introduce whom we successfully employ!
